Channel 1 is not the same frequency on every FPV video system. DJI, Walksnail, HDZero, analog and OpenIPC each use their own channel tables, so two pilots on the same number can sit far apart in the band, or right on top of each other.
We could not find one chart that put every system on one frequency scale, so we built this map. Enter who's flying and it plans your channels with as much separation as the band allows.
Which system pairs with which goggles
Every video system on the map is its own hardware family: air units and goggles only work within their family, and each family flies its own channel plan.
DJI O4 (sold as O4 Pro, O4 Lite and O4 Wide) is DJI's newest digital system. It pairs with the Goggles 3 or Goggles N3, where you also get Race Mode and the 60 MHz mode. It runs on the older Goggles 2 and Integra too, just without Race Mode and without 60 MHz. Stock you get 3 channels at 10 and 20 MHz plus the wider modes; the community FCC hack unlocks extra channels. DJI O3 is the generation before: it runs on the Goggles 3, Goggles 2, Integra and the FPV Goggles V2, 3 channels stock, more via the community HAM/FCC unlock on approximate community centres.
DJI Air Unit V1 and Caddx Vista are the original DJI digital system. Not O3, not O4. They run on the old FPV Goggles V1 and V2, and with the right firmware also on the Goggles 2 and Integra. The channel plan stays the old one: a Vista pilot flying on Goggles 2 still sits on V1 legacy frequencies, not on O3 or O4 channels. When in doubt, plan by the air unit, not the goggles.
The rest are separate ecosystems. Walksnail Avatar has its own goggles and VRX modules; Walksnail Ascent is a newer, separate line and does not share Avatar's channels. HDZero uses its own goggles and flies RaceBand plus extra presets, with an optional low-band unlock. BETAFPV P1 is its own ArtLynk system, not Walksnail. OpenIPC broadcasts over raw Wi-Fi and sits on the map for reference, not in the planner. Analog covers any analog VTX and receiver; we plan it with a coordination buffer because analog has no single published channel width.
RaceBand frequencies (R1 to R8)
RaceBand is the closest thing 5.8 GHz FPV has to a shared language. Analog VTX tables carry it, DJI O4 Racing mode is compatible with it, HDZero uses it. Eight centres, 37 MHz apart, from R1 at 5658 MHz to R8 at 5917 MHz.
DJI O4 and O3 channels
Stock DJI is narrower than most pilots think: three channels at 10 or 20 MHz, one at 40 or 60 MHz on O4 and one at 40 MHz on O3. DJI publishes the same centre table across regions, while channel availability, power and firmware behaviour can still vary by country. Racing mode on Goggles 3 / N3 adds up to eight RaceBand-compatible channels. Seven-channel charts refer to the O3 community unlock; exact O4 unlock centres are deliberately left out because current community tables conflict.
One more thing on DJI: Auto mode is not a channel you can plan around. The air unit picks a clean channel by itself and holds it, but it can jump to another one when interference shows up, so there is no fixed frequency to reserve for an Auto pilot. Flying in a group, set a Manual channel; on the O4 you can also use Race Mode.
Analog bands A, B, E and F
A 40-channel analog receiver spans bands A, B, E and F plus RaceBand. The letter only tells you which row of the table your VTX uses. What matters at the spot is the centre frequency behind it, and that two pilots keep distance between theirs.
How many pilots can fly at the same time?
Depends on width. On paper, eight analog pilots fit on RaceBand. Two or three fill the band once someone flies a 40 MHz digital mode. Mixed groups are the hard case: that is exactly what the planner above solves.
Plan for separation, and stay legal
Channels overlap when their occupied widths touch, not when their numbers match, so plan for real distance and let the planner above work it out. And a channel sitting inside a band is not the same as a legal transmission: in Germany the general authorization covers 5725 to 5875 MHz at 25 mW EIRP, your occupied width has to fit inside it too, and local and event rules still apply.
